Mamie Bradley, Emmett Till's Mother, Speaks at Anti-Lynching Rally

Mamie Bradley speaks at an anti-lynching rally after the acquittal of the men accused of killing her son, Emmett Till. The 14-year-old Till's abduction and murder -- for flirting with a white woman in 1955 Mississippi, on a dare -- is credited with sparking the modern civil rights movement. At his funeral, his mother insisted on an open casket. "I wanted the world to see what they did to my baby," she said.
