Harry Houdini Goes to Work

Houdini shows his handcuffs as he stands in a wooden box on a boat and prepares to be nailed inside and submerged, on July 7, 1912. Forbidden by police from using a pier, he hired a tugboat and invited the press. It would prove to be one of his most famous stunts.
