On a scale of one to ten, how miserable are you? It's probably tough to say, but believe it or not misery has an economic element and is, to an extent, objectively qualifiable. Using a variety of statistics (which can be found in greater detail here) Forbes magazine recently ranked the ten most miserable cities in America. The results can be found here, so if you're planning a family vacation you may want to stay away from these places. Unless of course they're ranked lower on the list than the city where you live.
