Marc Bolan of T. Rex

T. Rex singer, songwriter, and guitarist Marc Bolan (left) never learned to drive because he feared dying in an accident. So it was girlfriend Gloria Jones (right) who was at the wheel in the crash that killed him in 1977. Four years later, fellow band member Steve Currie died in a car crash as well.
